20 years of professional experience with varied disciplines, focusing on gentle methods of training to achieve show ring success. This includes showing and or schooling the following: hunter/jumpers, barrels and gymkhana, English and western equitation.

I hold a judges card and adjudicate open and 4H shows in CO. This privilege requires me to be current in my knowledge of riding and showing in English and western riding. I received my BS from CSU in equine industry and returned there to do several years of graduate work studying equine behavior. Competition history includes participating in the 2014 Extreme Mustang Makeover in Loveland, Colorado, where my assigned mare Shiloh did extremely well.

In all of my training and teaching I strive to adopt the gentlest methods of teaching horses and horsemanship. While teaching and working horses, I operate under the assumption that learning takes joy, time, and patience.

• Starting horses under saddle finishing for the show ring and everything in between
• Problem horses or horses with people problems
• Lessons English and western, indoor arena for winter riding.
